If you have a Medicaid plan not listed, please contact us to discuss switching your manage Medicaid plan to one of the plans accepted.
What if my insurance plan
is not accepted?
If we do not accept your insurance plan, we have private pay options. Additionally, your therapist can provide you with a Superbill which can be sent to your insurance company. Some insurance companies will accept Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, but it does vary on a plan to plan basis. We also accepts payments from an HSA or FSA card.
What is the right age to start speech therapy?
There is no right age for speech therapy since speech therapy focuses on so many different areas of communication - speech, language, social, and reading/writing. Please reach out and our speech therapist will be able to be able to better direct you if an evaluation and treatment is appropriate for your child.
Where will therapy take place?
Therapy can take place in our clinic in Clyde, NC or in certain circumstances, therapy can take place in your home or child's daycare. Please contact us for more information on where your child's therapy sessions can take place.
How long will therapy take?
The most common question in speech therapy and, unfortunately, the most difficult to answer! There is no definitive answer to this question. It varies depending on the child's temperament, their diagnosis, if we are able to stick to the frequency and duration of sessions recommended following the evaluation, and the carry over that takes place at home.
